Happy New Moon in Scorpio!
We are officially in Scorpio Season! The New Moon joins the Sun in the watery sign of Scorpio, and in a few short days… Mercury will be going retrograde in Scorpio as well!
This will bring us all a series of events and developments that we didn’t even know we needed to help awaken our potential.
This New Moon in Scorpio is bringing us in highly charged energy to assist us during our rebirth this season. What has been hidden will be uncovered, and what has been asleep will be stirred awake.
Prepare to dig deep! Unhealed wounds, childhood traumas and other unaddressed scars are likely to come up as we move through this “underworld.”
Don’t be afraid to step into this and to feel your feelings fully. This is coming up for a reason. Much of this is to help fully heal these past wounds and integrate the lessons of the year so we can move into 2020 with a new perspective, no longer weighed down by our past.
This new cycle holds the unexpected… so believe in miracles and let magick guide you through!
Grab a cup of tea or cider & scroll on to see what this new moon cycle has in store for you!
New Moon in Scorpio
This New Moon in Scorpio might have many of us feeling on edge… There is a sense of “ expecting the unexpected,” this month, especially around this new moon. You might be feeling restless right now, spontaneous, or even erratic! Be prepared to embrace change, and surrender to the flow.
Politicians might make decisions we don’t agree with, or others might be making decisions about politicians we don’t agree with! It’s time for you to decide which side you are on to help the Earth shift into a new paradigm. The Earth might also have some messages for us in some unexpected ways… in the form of storms, quakes and even fires.
This new moon is opposite Uranus which gives a sense that accidents are likely to happen, especially if we act impulsively!
The best way to handle this new moon is to remain flexible and adaptable. We can’t control the change we might be experiencing, but we can control how we feel about it and how we respond. Our response, is our responsibility… so be sure to not act in an erratic or impulsive manner.
This new moon might dig up some old wounds or traumas from the past. You might have thought things have been healed, but this new moon will offer a new perspective so that you can finally lay these things to rest.
If you find yourself in a place where your own mistakes need to be addressed… apologize without any “ifs” or “buts” in order to allow yourself and others to move forward fully. You may need to be prepared to heal from situations where you don’t get an apology or closure. Apologize if you need to, but don’t expect everyone to take the high road with you.
Mercury goes retrograde later this week on Samhain, the 31st. Mercury retrograde is often an aspect that is dreaded and feared… but each retrograde is different! Mercury is conjunct Venus, which means this one in particular is actually going to help highlight ways we need to step up our communication with others to create harmony. Sometimes we are more prone to arguments and misunderstandings, but this retrograde is one that is focused on resolving and fixing issues before they get out of hand. Don’t make a mountain out of molehill during this retrograde. Try to resolve any issues that come up right away before feelings get hurt.
The card pulled for this week is Waning Crescent: Support. This week might cause you to feel a bit ungrounded as we move through the deep waters of Scorpio. Take time to intentionally ground your energy this week. Feel the support from Gaia. Call upon your crystal companions and their stable structures for further support and grounding. Connect to your foundations of strong muscles and bones that hold you upright. You will find that you are supported in every moment of your life. You might feel called towards supporting your soul family at this time as well, or you may need to reach out for support yourself. Don’t be afraid to do so! This is a sign that you will be welcomed with open arms.
First Quarter Moon in Aquarius
The moon turns to first quarter on the 4th of November in the sign of Aquarius. When the waxing moon is in Aquarius we feel stirred to express ourselves and explore our sense of freedom. You might need to find some balance this week when it comes to your personal interests and the sacrifices you make for others.
The waxing moon is in an air sign, which means our emotions want to be both expressed and analysed. You might find it better to analyze your emotions rather than express them this week. Don’t ignore or suppress what you are feeling by any means, but remember to not act out erratically. Instead ask yourself why you are feeling the way that you are.
You might feel an increased interest to learn and explore a new hobby or craft this week. Aquarius wants us to expand our selves and learn something new. This is a great week to do just that. Take time to learn whatever it is you’ve been meaning to do.You will be fully supported, especially if you seek knowledge and understanding from like minded individuals.
We are now feeling the full effects of Mercury Retrograde this week. Remember that technology and other communication devices might be acting a little “off".” Back-up your computers and get outside into the fresh air if you can!
The card pulled for this week is, Waxing Crescent: Expansion. A perfect card for this week’s waxing moon in Aquarius! The visions and dreams in your head are almost ready to take flight into your new reality. It is time to utilize this energy and create a plan. What is rowing in your life? what needs more expansion? Sometimes more focus can bring greater freedom and expansion to your vision. Take some time to write out simple actionable steps that you can do this week. Keep it simple and the more steps you complete become bolder in your actions. Take one small step and allow it to lead to something greater. Remain open to the possibilities you are creating. Don’t allow tunnel vision to consume you. This is a week to take action, but be sure your mindset is in the right place!
Full Crone Moon in Taurus
The Full Crone Moon in Taurus takes place on the 12th of November. This full moon has potential to be a busy but productive one. It’s safe to expect good news and welcome in feelings of accomplishment and celebration. There is a sense of our goals and intentions finally paying off. We are able to see physical and tangible results of our efforts.
The full moon has potential to light up what isn’t working in your life, work and relationships so that you can take steps towards resolving them.
This full moon is opposite Mercury, which could bring potential communication issues, but will also illuminate how to better communicate. Communicate with yourself first and foremost. Know what it is that you want to say and this aspect will help you get very clear so that you are fully understood by those you love.
Mars is sextile Jupiter, and Saturn is sextile Neptune right now, which makes this current mercury retrograde a fairly positive one if you are willing to do the inner work first. It should be easy to resolve any conflict that does come up during this Mercury retrograde.
This Full Moon is a good time for quiet reflection and getting in touch with your higher self, guides and other mentors about what has been holding you back. You might feel reminiscent about the past, or even meet up with people from your past to help you learn new things.
This Full Crone Moon is the perfect time to seek ancestral wisdom or advice from your elders. The veil is still thin during November, especially during this Full Moon week. Look into your past and tap into the ancestral wisdom that is available to you. This is also a perfect time for any ancestral healing that might need to be done.
Some of us are here to heal our ancestral lines so that we can one day become a spirit guide for others in future generations. If you feel disconnected from your ancestors you might be here to heal the wounds that your family has been carrying for generations. You are here to put an end to that pain and create a new age of healing.
“Pain travels through Family lines until someone is ready to heal it on themselves. By going through the agony of healing you no longer pass the poison chalice onto the generations that follow. It is incredibly important and Sacred work.”
If you feel disconnected from your ancestors and don’t feel like you have wisdom to glean on during this time, seek wisdom from the Goddess and your higher self. You aren’t alone in this. Seek to make connection with your inner crone.
Don’t forget to check back here on the full moon for the ritual we have planned to help better tap into this Crone Moon energy! This is also a great night to make a gratitude list, set some intentions an color in your moondala in the Tune to the Moon planner!
The card pulled for this week is Libra: The Peacemaker. With Mercury retrograde in full swing, you might be finding yourself in the midst of chaos! It is time to remember to find peace in every moment. Create harmony in your situation. What does your situation need to bring in more balance? This is a great time to deepen a relationship that you have been wanting to take to the next level. Remember to seek balance first. Remain diplomatic in your approach. Don’t play the peacemaker for the sake of others if it doesn’t also benefit you!
Last Quarter moon in Leo
The last quarter moon takes place on the 19th of November in the sign of Leo. This is a week you might feel like sharing your knowledge or gifts with others. So far this month the focus has been on learning from others and communicating with like minded souls and learning from the wisdom of your higher self, but this week, you might find yourself the teacher.
Make sure your desire to be noticed and appreciated doesn’t harm or lessen the value of your message. A lion doesn’t have to brag that she is a lion. Everyone knows it. Simply speak your truth and allow the like minded souls to gather around you! You will be able to express yourself openly and fully this week.
Mercury goes direct on the 20th, but you might still feel the effects of the retrograde as it’s still in it’s shadow period. You can still expect this week to bring about a big shift as communication gets easier and clearer, especially as we start this week in Leo.
The card pulled for this week is Waning Gibbous: Surrender. This week you might find it best to surrender to the flow of life. Relax and let the current carry you through. Surrender can be one of the hardests lessons to learn… but it holds such valuable reward! All phases run their course and the cycle of life will continue. The moon is currently waning towards new once again, and with that our own personal energy will ebb. Open your heart despite the uncertainty you might be facing and trust in whatever unknown chapter is in front of you. There you will find peace and deep inner knowing despite the doubt and chaos that surrounds you. Resisting the current will only delay your progress. Go with the flow and remember, this is just a phase!
This cycle is a powerful one! Be prepared for some shock and awe to happen this month especially around the new moon. Scorpio brings up the unexpected and reveals the truth… sometimes the ugly truth. If you’ve been doing the inner work, you should have nothing to hide. If something does come up, feel it fully and make amends best you can so you can move forward!
The Full Crone Moon may pose communication and relationship problems because it is opposite Mercury retrograde, but you’ve been doing the inner work all year and can finally put that hard work to the test. This month is about making your dreams come true and finally seeing result of your efforts. Saturn sextile Neptune and the Full Crone Moon helps you can bring a sense of completion to the things that you have been working toward all year.If you have had any long term goals over this year, you will finally be able to see some of the pay off as we move forward into 2020.
